Fraudulent acts can occur at any level of the organization causing significant loss on profit and/or performance in other areas. Although there is no empiric evidence it is estimated that costs associated with frauds in corporations amount to %10 of what profit. Fraudulent acts are easily committed due to level of technology used in companies but it also creates an opportunity to uncover them with ease. On the other hand, taking measures that prevents fraud can minimize possible costs.
